The private institution "Ukrainian Institute of Childhood" (hereinafter - the Institute) was established on March 22, 2024.The creation of the Institute was a response to the growing need to support the development of children's potential and the introduction of modern approaches to the education and upbringing of preschool children.From the first days of its activity, the academic community of the Institute focused on the implementation of educational activities under the programs of non-formal education for children and adults, including parents, as well as improving the professional qualification and level of professional mastery of scientific and pedagogical workers, pedagogical workers, other workers of educational institutions and subjects of educational activityThanks to the efforts of the founders and their team, the "Ukrainian Institute of Childhood" PU is actively developing and has already become a platform for the implementation of innovative programs, scientific research and projects aimed at supporting childhood and family values ​​in Ukraine.

The primary mission of the Private Institution "Ukrainian Institute of Childhood" is to meet the needs of citizens, society, business, and the state in the development of education, enhancing its quality, and preparing highly qualified professionals for this purpose. It aims to ensure the continuous renewal of their professional competencies and the improvement of their professional skills, to promote the values of childhood, parenthood, family values, lifelong learning, and development from the earliest stages of life. The Institute also works to create opportunities for lifelong education, advocate for the interests of children and families, as well as for education and science before authorities at all levels. Its goal is to foster respect and consolidate the efforts of citizens, society, and the state towards those who shape the country's human capital from childhood, providing support and creating conditions for their productive work.

The Charter of the Private Institution ""Ukrainian Institute of Childhood"" is the key founding document that regulates the activities of the Institute in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine. The Charter outlines the main areas of work, the rights and responsibilities of the Institute, its structure, as well as the principles for organizing educational, scientific, and administrative activities. The main provisions of the Charter cover the following aspects: the establishment and legal status, the primary tasks of the Institute, the rights of the Institute, its structure, the language policy of the Institute, the core principles of its activities, the rights and responsibilities of participants in the educational process (students, academic and teaching staff, parents), the specifics of the scientific, scientific-technical, and scientific-organizational activities of the Institute, the organization of its educational activities, the implementation of financial and economic activities, the procedure for the functioning of the Institute’s governing bodies, advisory bodies, self-governing bodies within the Institute, as well as the supervision (control) over the Institute's activities.
